Hiring A Grab Loader

Grab hire services are part of waste removal for commercial and domestic construction/excavation projects. The removal of animal manure and green waste is also an option. Do note that grab service companies can also transport materials, in addition to waste removal.

While hiring a grab loader to remove your construction waste is easy, do follow these tips to ensure a problem-free operation.

1. Sufficient Gateway Space

Grab loaders generally needs 2.9 meters of space to pass through; your gateway will need to be at least 2.9 meters wide. Do however clarify the minimum space requirement with the grab loader service company that you hire from.

2. Allocate a proper space to leave your waste

You will need to take note to avoid placing your waste away from overhead cables, walls and tress. The piled up waste should also be less than 4.5 meters high, as that is the maximum amount of waste that the grab loader can grab from the vehicle side.

3. Inform the grab loader company of potential obstructions

Let the grab service company know if there is a low bridge preceding your area. The company may have to make alternate arrangements to transport the grab loader over.
